Orzo Bimbo - Orzo Macinato Ground for Moka Pots - 500g (1.1lb)

Orzo Bimbo's Orzo Macinato is nearly impossible to find in the United States — which is a shame, because orzo (barley coffee) runs circles around chicory, the non-coffee alternative here. Orzo is full-bodied, flavorful, and genuinely satisfying. A cup is a vital part of my morning routine.

Although I generally bring back a generous supply from trips to Italy, this time I found myself within days of running out and my usual backup suppliers, a couple Brooklyn Italian specialty stores, were also out with no restock in sight. A definite crisis was looming.

Fortunately, I discovered Cerini. How did I never know of it before!!! With its incredible stock and inventory. The website and customer service when I called were superlative. They shipped a couple month supply that arrived speedily and just in time that I didn’t miss a single morning cup.

I look forward to visiting the store on Arthur Ave. in the near future. And, in the meantime, I can feel secure to find my favorite Italian products not carried by larger corporate food stores (I will refrain from mentioning which — who needs them when there is Cerini!)

Incredible! I can run this through my espresso machine and actually get a crema. I had to stop caffeine for health reasons, and I am thrilled to have found this product. I feel like I finally have my morning espresso back. Many sources recommend putting half of what you usually use in espresso, but i found that too watery. I recommend using 1:1 switch if you're replacing espresso too. Highly recommend.
